Job summary

Hyperion Materials & Technologies Inc. seeks an Entry-Level CNC Machine Operator / Grinder Trainee to grind carbide preforms across various shapes. The role involves setup and operating surface grinding equipment with basic CNC knowledge.

The candidate will help integrate current and future products into the grinding process. Primary duties include learning CNC/grinding operations, maintaining quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of carbide grinding processes.
• Solid grasp of GD&T and mechanical drawing interpretation.
• Experience collaborating with engineering and quality teams.
• Proven ability to plan and meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment per OSHA standards.
• Learn new equipment quickly based on CNC/grinding foundations.
• Set up and identify fixtures and wheels to produce parts.
• Step into a production lead role when needed and ensure smooth handoffs.
