Woodward Inc. is seeking a Machinist (Grinder) to set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual grinders in an industrial setting. This 1st shift role runs Monday through Thursday with a 5:00 a.m.

start and 10-hour days, delivering precision metal parts to tight tolerances per specifications. Ideal candidates will have experience with Lathes, Mills, Swiss machines, and OD/ID grinders, plus a solid grasp of GD&T, blueprints, and quality inspection techniques.

Qualifikationen

• Skilled in operating multiple CNC or Manual machining equipment such as Lathes, Mills, Swiss, and OD/ID Grinders.
• Proficient in supporting operations.
• Critical Thinking: identifies gaps to standard and resolves or escalates them.
• Mechanical aptitude and use of inspection gauges and hand/power tools.

Aufgaben

• Operate CNC or manual machining equipment to produce precision metal parts according to specifications (Level 1).
• Perform setup, basic operations, and first piece inspections as needed.
• Follow SOPs, read blueprints, and apply GD&T where required.
• Support daily production with lean practices and maintain a clean, organized work area.
