Productivity Inc. in Plymouth, MN is seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician - Field Service to serve the Twin Cities metro and greater Minnesota.

The role is field-based with travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair Haas CNC machine tools and controls. Applicants should have hands-on CNC maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and a customer-focused service mindset.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC machine tool maintenance and repair experience.
• Haas machine experience strongly preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting Haas and Fanuc controls.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and machine documentation.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and professional service mindset.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Residency within the Twin Cities metro area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites throughout the Twin Cities metro area and greater Minnesota to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools and controls.
• Receive full travel support, including a company service vehicle, gas card, and paid travel expenses.
• Perform new machine installations, leveling, alignment, and initial setup.
• Repair and adjust mechanical systems, including spindles, drives, ball screws, way systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic components.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems, including CNC controls, servo systems, safety circuits, and machine peripherals.
• Calibrate and replace parts to maintain machine accuracy and performance.
• Maintain detailed digital service records, documenting diagnostics, repairs, and parts usage.
• Provide exceptional customer support, communicating findings and repair recommendations to manufacturing customers.
