Job summary

Productivity Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Tool Field Service Engineer to support customers across the Twin Cities metro and Minnesota. This remote/field-based role focuses on Haas equipment, with full travel support and a company vehicle.

You will travel to sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC tools, perform new machine installations, and provide detailed service reports. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills are required, along with excellent

Qualifications

Hands-on CNC machine tool maintenance and repair experience.
Experience troubleshooting Haas controls and/or Fanuc controls.
Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and machine documentation.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC tools, with a focus on Haas equipment.
Receive full travel support, including a company service vehicle, gas card, and paid travel expenses.
Perform new machine installations, leveling, alignment, and initial setup.
Repair and adjust mechanical systems, including spindles, drives, ball screws, way systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic components.
Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems, including CNC controls, servo systems, safety circuits, and machine peripherals.
Calibrate and replace parts to maintain machine accuracy and performance.
Maintain detailed digital service records, documenting diagnostics, repairs, and parts usage.
Provide exceptional customer support, communicating findings and repair recommendations to manufacturing customers.
