Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading CNC machine tool builder to recruit a Field Service Engineer. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools at customer facilities nationwide, delivering peak performance and superior service.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s in mechatronics/electrical/mechanical, 5+ years in CNC maintenance, strong PLC and FANUC control experience, and the ability to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of CNC machine tool maintenance and service experience (electrical and mechanical).
• 5+ years of remote technical support within the machine tool industry.
• Proven experience installing/servicing machining centers with leveling and alignment.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and FANUC CNC controls.
• Solid understanding of power circuits and industrial electrical systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel extensively (100%) and work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Install new CNC machine tool systems at customer sites, including options and accessories.
• Perform machine leveling, geometry checks, and final adjustments for peak performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and application issues.
• Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions including repair or replacement.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support via phone, email, and other channels.
• Support customers, distributors, and internal teams with technical guidance and problem resolution.
• Provide customer training and assist with project coordination as needed.
• Travel extensively and maintain detailed service documentation and reporting.
