Job summary

Pacificacontinental seeks a Service Engineer to provide maintenance, repair, and installation of CNC machine tools at customer sites or via phone support. You will also create technical docs and generate service reports.

The role requires strong communication, ability to read drawings and PLCs, and collaboration with Customer Service Engineers. Travel is ~50% in multi-state regions; some work at the Technical Center in New Hampshire when not visiting customers.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (oral & written).
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
• Experience with CNC machine tool maintenance and installation."
• Experience with DMG MORI SEIKI machines, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and/or Siemens controls is a PLUS.
• Travel capability with 50% travel in multi-state regions.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, repair, and installation support for CNC machine tools on site or remotely.
• Create and update technical documentation.
• Develop and generate ongoing and ad-hoc service reports.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Engineers to resolve issues.
• Train and assist Customer Service Engineers on new product lines.
• Build strong communication and customer service relationships with customers.
• Manage challenging customer interactions and solicit feedback to improve service.
