Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Schaumburg, IL

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of CNC machining equipment. This role includes traveling to client locations and working independently or as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Engineers of all experience levels, from entry-level to experienced, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Provide post-sales support to clients, including technical training and operational assistance.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade CNC machining equipment and related systems.
• Investigate and resolve customer-reported technical issues, ensuring future operational success.
• Collaborate with both management and factory engineers to address equipment defects and improve product performance.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions to prevent recurring issues.
• Handle work activities independently, prioritizing tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Engineering Technology.
• 2-5 years of experience working with machine tools.
• Familiarity with Fanuc machines and CNC systems.
• Understanding of PLC systems and ability to interpret diagrams.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other manual lifting equipment.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to travel 30%-50% of the time.
• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
