Job summary

Our client’s advanced manufacturing team seeks a CNC EDM Machinist to own the full lifecycle of producing tight-tolerance components. You will review prints, plan, and set up EDM equipment (sinker, wire, or popper), then cut, test, and verify parts to exact specs, maintaining part IDs and clear handoffs to the next shift.

Responsibilities include inspection per GD&T, supporting grind operations, performing TPM, and upholding 6S and safety standards in a cell-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years operating wire or sinker EDMs (GD&T experience required).
• Able to read blueprints and planning documents.
• Familiarity with Siemens CNC controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC EDM machines (sinker, wire, popper) per blueprint requirements.
• Produce and verify parts against specifications and check for burrs.
• Inspect to GD&T callouts and ensure surface integrity.
• Maintain precise part IDs and documentation; hand off to next shift.
• Support grinding operations as needed and maintain 6S workspace.
