Job summary

WDP in Mattawan, MI is seeking an experienced CNC EDM SinkER Specialist to program, set-up, and operate CNC sinker EDM equipment, manufacturing precision tooling and mold components per engineering specs.

The role requires reading blueprints/CAD drawings, troubleshooting programming issues, and maintaining quality through precise inspection and routine maintenance. Collaboration and attention to detail are essential in a fast-paced tool-room environment.

Qualifications

Experience in programming and operating CNC EDM equipment (sinker EDM).
Ability to read blueprints and work to close tolerances.
Knowledge of tooling, machining practices, and precision manufacturing.
Experience with CAD/CAM software and precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

Program, set-up, and operate CNC sinker EDM machines.
Manufacture precision tooling, mold components, and fixtures to engineering specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings.
Diagnose machining and programming issues and implement effective solutions.
