Job summary

MOHR Talent in Rochester, NY is hiring a CNC Drill Line Machine Operator for first shift. The role runs 6:00 AM–2:00 PM with overtime available. You will support drill-line and general shop operations in a structural steel fabrication environment.

CNC Drill Line Machine Operator
$21-$25/Hour | 6:00 AM-2:00 PM
First Shift | Overtime Available
Structural Steel Fabrication Shop
Location: Rochester, NY

We're partnering with a fabrication shop that is hiring a CNC Machine Operator to support drill-line and general shop operations.

This is a good fit for someone who is mechanically inclined, can read a tape measure, and is willing to help with fabrication and material handling when machine work slows down.

What You’ll Do

• Operate CNC and drill-line equipment
• Set up and monitor machine work
• Read measurements and use a tape measure accurately
• Handle structural steel and shop materials
• Help with cutting, drilling, grinding, torching, and fit-up
• Cross-train on other machines and shop processes
• Keep working during downtime by helping with fabrication, cleanup, or material handling

What They’re Looking For

• CNC, drill-line, plasma-table, or fabrication experience preferred
