Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a precision manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills
• Advanced ability to interpret engineering drawings with GD&T
• Familiarity with CNC control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas); CAM software experience a plus
• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of a formal CNC machining program, trade school, or apprenticeship preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain large bed CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components to tight tolerance specifications
• Read, interpret, and apply complex technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files to ensure machining accuracy
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, setup discrepancies, and machining inefficiencies to minimize downtime
• Perform first-article inspections and continuous in-process quality checks using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams on complex geometries and specialized materials
• Assist in developing, editing, and optimizing CNC programs (G-code or CAM software), particularly for multi-axis machines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area

CNC Machinist

We're seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in operating and maintaining large bed milling machines to support the manufacturing of precision components.

What You'll Do
