Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for a fabrication operation in the Newark, NY area. This hands-on role combines CNC/drill-line operation with fabrication and material handling.

You will set up machines, read shop drawings, and assist with cutting, drilling, grinding, torching, and movement of structural steel. OT is optional; pay is $21-$25 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC/machine operation or fabrication.
• Structural steel experience is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Hands-on, mechanical and comfortable with shop work.
• Willingness to cross-train and assist where needed.

Location: Newark, NY area
Pay: $21-$25/hr DOE
Schedule: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM | Optional OT
Employment: Direct Hire

We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator for afabrication operation in the Newark, NY area. This is a hands-on position combining CNC/drill-line operation with fabrication and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and drill-line equipment
• Set up and monitor machine operations
• Read shop drawings and accurately use a tape measure
• Assist with cutting, drilling, grinding, torching, and general fabrication
• Handle structural steel and assist with material movement
• Cross-train on additional shop equipment
• Assist other areas of production during machine downtime

Qualifications

• CNC, machine operation, or fabrication experience preferred
• Structural steel experience is a plus
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable with hands-on shop work
• Willing to cross-train and assist wherever needed

Experience with Ficep, Peddinghaus, drill lines, beam lines, plasma tables, Hypertherm, or ProNest is a plus but not required.
