Job summary

Fluke Corporation seeks a CNC Machinist to set up and run CNC diamond turning machines to produce high-precision optical components in our Fabrication department.

You will read engineering drawings, operate equipment, collect data, and verify parts with metrology tools. The role requires a high school diploma, 5+ years of machining experience, English proficiency, and US person status, with potential for first or second shift work.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant machining production experience.
  • Must read, speak and understand English written instruction and documentation.
  • Must be a US Person as defined by 22 CFR 120.15 (Citizen, Permanent Resident).

Responsibilities

  • Work from engineering drawings and process work instructions in accordance with established procedures, lean processes and standard work.
  • Set up, operate and maintain CNC diamond turning machines in support of the production schedule.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data for production processes requiring basic math and statistical knowledge.
  • Manually clean optical surfaces using wipes and solvents
  • Utilize metrology equipment to verify conformance of optical components to high precision specifications.
