Job summary

Klein Tools seeks a Department Leader of CNC Mill Lathe or Drill Press in Trevose, PA. You will work with supervisors to determine procedures, prepare schedules, and mentor Level III operators while maintaining quality and productivity on 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:30 PM EDT; training on 1st shift initially).

Responsibilities include process improvements, setup support, and ensuring safety and accuracy in manufacturing. A competitive sign-on bonus is offered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7–10 years in manufacturing and 3 years as a Level III operator.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to learn, problem-solve, and follow work instructions.
• Ability to communicate and lead as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Review work center and prepare schedules with supervision.
• Inform personnel on method and procedure for assignments.
• Perform job setups as needed.
• Maintain high quality and production rates.
• Examine work for exactness and conformance to specs.
• Train and mentor new employees.
• Review and correct errors in methods and procedures.
• Document corrections for setup procedures and machinery.
• Recommend adjustments to work standards and monitor results.
• Improve efficiency via setup reduction and problem resolution.
• Fulfill duties of a Level III operator on requested machine.
• Perform other duties as required.
