Job summary

Klein Tools is seeking a CNC Machine Operator III in Trevose, PA. The role involves setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce machined parts while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

You will work on 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 11:30 PM EDT), after initial training on 1st shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM EDT). A competitive sign-on bonus is offered based on experience and shift requirements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, plus five years' CNC experience.
Seven years of experience preferred.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English.
Proficiency in basic math and trigonometry.
Ability to read and understand part and tool prints.
Ability to use precision measuring tools and hold close tolerances.

Responsibilities

Operate drill presses, manual milling machines, CNC milling machines, manual lathes and CNC lathes.
Perform complex CNC machine set-ups by loading programs and adjusting tooling.
Make adjustments to the program as needed.
Load and unload raw materials and parts into the machine.
Verify settings by measuring first-run parts and sample workpieces.
Inspect and measure finished product using calipers, gauges, micrometers and other hand tools.
Maintain safety and quality by following procedures and 5S standards.
Document actions and communicate irregularities between shifts.
