Qualifications

• 3-7 years in CNC contract manufacturing environment (manufacturing engineer, applications engineer, estimator, or inside sales coordinator).
• Ability to read a print, understand GD&T, and converse with engineers about tolerances, materials, and machining sequences.
• Organized, responsive, and proactive—customers should know where their order stands.
• Desire to transition into or grow within the commercial side of manufacturing without losing technical roots.
• Thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative shop where leadership engages with customers.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of existing accounts—no cold calls, no territory quotas.
• Serve as the technical contact between customers and the shop floor, coordinating quotes and managing the customer relationship through production.
• Ensure orders progress smoothly and nothing falls through the cracks.
