Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Aiken, SC, is seeking a Senior Supervisor, Maintenance. The position is full-time with a traditional Monday–Friday schedule and requires 5 years of supervisory experience (or 9 years in lieu).

The role oversees maintenance activities, enforces safety regulations, and coordinates with multiple departments to ensure reliable operations. Responsibilities include managing attendance and overtime records, tracking progress, and leading preventive maintenance programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, electrical, civil engineering or related field and 5 years supervisory experience; or 9 years supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead diverse teams.
  • High level of oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with computer applications and CMMS or similar systems.

What you will be doing:
  • Interprets corporate policies to workers and enforces safety regulations while complying with terms of contractual labor agreement.
  • Maintains departmental attendance and overtime records.
  • Keeps management abreast of progress, developments and pending problems.
  • Coordinates activities of skilled tradesmen and schedules work with other departments
  • Manages preventive maintenance programs/procedures and utilizes a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, electrical, or civil engineering or a business major operations/facilities management related field and 5 years supervisory experience; or 9 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • High level of oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with computer applications and/or controlled systems.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Completion of recommended company-training programs.
  • Knowledge of total productive maintenance principles.
  • Knowledge of ISO/QS-9000 requirements.
  • Familiarity with "Lean Manufacturing" principles

  • Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, and the employee must have the ability to adjust focus.

Pay Range $84,351 - $137,071-Annually
