Kloeckner Metals - Americas is seeking a Burner Operator to safely and efficiently set up, operate, and perform basic programming for burner systems. You will review work orders, handle materials, and prepare parts for finishing while ensuring quality and production flow.

Responsibilities include CNC programming per instructions, managing scrap and part transport, and maintaining safety and organization on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work assigned overtime, sometimes on short notice.
• Must pass physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility.
• Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in all inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up burner systems and program basic burner tasks.
• Review work orders and group by thickness and priority per supervisor instructions.
• Handle materials and operate equipment like hooks, magnets, and spreader bars.
• Program CNC equipment per work order instructions and manage scrap/parts flow.
• Prepare parts for finishing, packaging, and labeling with order data as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; move completed orders to staging areas as needed.
• Perform other duties to support production efficiency and safety.
