Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is hiring a Brake Press Operator. The role involves bending sheet metal to design specs and ensuring defect-free parts. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of CNC Brake Press experience in manufacturing and a willingness to work in a fast-paced plant.

An emphasis on safety, teamwork, and quality will guide daily tasks, with opportunities for skill development and cross-training across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CNC Break Press experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Shear and/or Press Brake for routine established work.
• Select proper punches and dies based on material thickness and type.
• Load, install and set up tools and set machine parameters for optimal performance.
• Safely operate forklift to handle materials.
• Grind finished product for sandblasting.
• Perform assigned work within time standards and quality expectations.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Detects machining issues and adjust machinery to ensure quality; report malfunctions.
