Job summary

Freeman Enclosure Systems is seeking an experienced Fabrication Press Brake Operator to set up and operate press brake machinery for bending sheet metal components used in electrical enclosures. The ideal candidate will read blueprints, inspect parts, and maintain tight tolerances in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include selecting tooling, programming basic CNC adjustments, performing first-piece inspections, and maintaining quality while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specs.
• Strong measuring and inspection skills with tape measures and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake equipment per blueprints and work orders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, bend diagrams, and specifications.
• Select tooling and adjust machine settings to achieve correct bends and tolerances.
• Program/CNC adjust press brake settings to meet specs and perform first-piece inspections.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area and follow PPE procedures.
