Qualifications
- Metal forming training/apprenticeship.
- Ability to use common measuring equipment for sheet metal.
- Read part drawings and tolerance requirements.
- Commitment to safety and clean work area.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate brake press to bend sheet metal per drawings.
- Use measuring devices to verify accuracy of work.
- Read drawings to understand tolerances.
- Program the CNC press brake and perform daily machine maintenance.
- Maintain safe operation of press brake and tooling.
- Report problems to Team Leader and assist maintenance as needed.
- May obtain forklift license and support continuous improvements.
