Job summary

Dynomax, Inc is seeking an Applications Engineer to troubleshoot, calibrate, diagnose, and service CNC machines and components. You will test machinery prior to production and help refine control systems with hands-on fault finding.

Ideal candidates will have strong technical skills, excellent communication, and experience reading electrical schematics, CNC controls, and servo systems, using precision tools and oscilloscopes to ensure peak performance.

Qualifications

• Proficient with CNC calibration equipment and methods.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for control systems.
• Knowledge of CNC controls and servo systems.
• Experience using dial indicators and precision measuring tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical schematics to determine service required.
• Test electronic systems with meters and oscilloscopes to ensure safety and compatibility.
• Inspect electronic control systems for hazards, defects, or adjustments.
• Provide electrical/electronic support for equipment failures.
• Perform annual calibrations and alignments on machinery.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems to locate root causes and fix issues.
• Analyze CNC diagnostic data to improve equipment functionality.
