Job summary

Care with Dignity at Home LLC is seeking well-qualified PCAs to provide compassionate, reliable in-home care in Spotsylvania and Stafford counties, VA. We offer flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends.

Pay ranges from $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, with part-time schedules available. Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, medication reminders, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and specialized care for veterans and dementia patients.

Qualifications

• Must have valid caregiver certification.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
• Ability to follow medical documentation accurately.
• Reliable transportation; valid driver's license; background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate home care with dignity.
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Assist mobility and transfers using mobility aids and equipment.
• Medication reminders for clients.
• Meal preparation and dietary support including shopping.
• Light housekeeping and space organization.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Care for veterans, Alzheimer's and dementia patients.
• Back-up care or respite support for other caregivers.

SHIFTS OFFERED: We offer flexible hours, which include days, evenings, and weekends.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE IN: Spotsylvania and Stafford counties.

Responsibilities

• Provide our clients with safe, compassionate, and reliable care with dignity.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including using mobility aids and equipment.
• Medication reminder.
• Basic food preparation: assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met and shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing the client's living space.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Veteran care, Alzheimer's care, and Dementia care.
• Back-up care (or respite) services: providing other caregivers a break.

Requirements

• Previous experience and must have certification.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
• Ability to follow medical documentation procedures accurately.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
• Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
