Job summary

Good Samaritan Mandan Sunset, a not-for-profit, faith-based facility, seeks a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily living activities. You will work weekends, 6:00am to 2:15pm, and provide compassionate care under RN supervision in a 128-bed long-term care setting.

This role emphasizes attention to patient comfort, accurate vital signs, and collaboration with a diverse care team within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or in process of obtaining certification.
• GED preferred but not required; willingness to obtain CNA if not yet certified.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, mobility, meals, and vital signs.
• Document interactions, communicate changes to charge nurse, and support infection control.
