Job summary

Good Samaritan Mandan Sunset is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a 128-bed long-term care setting. The NA will perform daily living activities, monitor and report residents’ conditions, and support infection control and safety protocols under RN supervision.

The position requires CNA certification or active enrollment, a willingness to work weekends, and a commitment to compassionate, faith-based care with a focus on resident dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or in process within four months of starting date; certification provided by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, transfers, and mobility.
• Take and document vital signs and support meals and nutrition.

Education
