Job summary

Oasis at 56th is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver individualized care per the resident care plan. You will assist with ADLs and help with dining, housekeeping, laundry, and activities as part of universal support.

The role emphasizes compassionate communication with residents and families, interdepartmental collaboration, and ongoing professional development through seminars and meetings. Strong privacy and confidentiality practices are required.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification and a High School diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work across departments and adjust duties as needs shift.
• Demonstrate love, compassion, and dignity in care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, individualized care per each resident's care plan.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and dignity.
• Support with culinary, housekeeping, laundry, and activity tasks as part of universal support.
• Report changes in health status to the clinical team promptly and accurately.
• Connect with residents and families in a compassionate, meaningful way.
• Engage in ongoing learning via seminars, staff meetings, and trainings.
• Comply with confidentiality and privacy rules for resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
