Job summary

Heritage Woods of Watseka in Watseka, IL is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide resident-centered care according to each care plan. You will assist with ADLs, monitor health changes and report to the clinical team while maintaining dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver resident-centered care per each care plan.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly

Job Shift: 1st shift - 12 hours

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident's care plan
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Support residents beyond direct care by assisting with laundry and memory care activities as part of the universal support role
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Comfortable working across departments and adjusting duties as community needs shift throughout the day
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
