Job summary

Shinernr is seeking a reliable Transportation Aide – CNA to safely transport residents to appointments and activities while delivering compassionate care. You will drive carefully, assist with mobility, and support the CNA team when not transporting.

The role requires a valid Texas CNA certification, a clean driving record, and the ability to monitor residents' comfort and vital signs as needed. Join us to help residents stay safe and comfortable throughout their day.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 25 years of age or older for insurance.
• Current Texas CNA certification.
• Pass DMV check and qualify for company insurance.
• Complete Employee Driver Proficiency program.
• Strong communication, patience, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with caregiving and safe vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and activities.
• Ensure resident comfort and monitor safety during transport.
• Observe changes in residents’ condition and report concerns.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using assistive devices.
• Record vitals when needed during transport.
• Support CNA duties in the facility when not transporting.
