Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare seeks a Transportation Aide - CNA to safely transport residents to appointments and activities while delivering compassionate care.

You will drive residents, monitor safety and comfort, assist with mobility, and support CNA duties when not transporting. A valid Texas CNA certification, a clean driving record, and a 25+ age requirement are needed. The role emphasizes clear communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 25 years old for insurance requirements.
• Must have a current Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas (CNA).
• Must pass the DMV check and qualify for company insurance.
• Complete the Employee Driver Proficiency program.
• Demonstrates strong communication, patience, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with caregiving and safe vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely Transport Residents: Drive residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities.
• Ensure Resident Comfort: Monitor safety and comfort during transport.
• Observe & Report: Note changes in residents' condition and report concerns.
• Assist with Mobility: Help residents ambulate and transfer using assistive devices.
• Monitor Vital Signs: Record vitals when needed during transport.
• Support the Team: Assist with CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents.
