Job summary

White Pine Senior Living in Blaine, MN is seeking a part-time CNA/Caregiver to join our caring team at the Blaine I location.

You will assist residents with personal care, monitor vital signs, document services, and work closely with a supportive team to enhance quality of life.

No experience required; paid training provided; HS diploma or GED is required; strong communication and compassion are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities to reach and maintain independence.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed.
• Document services performed.
• Observe and report changes in physical and emotional condition of residents.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, incontinence management, transfers and medication administration.
• Communicate in a professional, respectful, and kind manner.
• Support residents with dementia or related diagnoses.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Caregiver responsibilities may include:

• Assist residents to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed.
• Document services performed.
• Observe and report any changes in physical and emotional condition of residents.
• Assist residents with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, incontinence management, transferring assistance and medication administration.
• Communicates and interacts in a professional, respectful, and kind manner.
• Ability to communicate and assist residents with dementia or related diagnosis.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• No experience necessary. Paid training will be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language.
