Job summary

White Pine Senior Living Cottage Grove II is seeking a CNA/Caregiver to join our compassionate team. This role supports residents with daily living activities, monitors health, and helps maintain independence in a supportive environment.

Shifts include PM and NOC with both full-time and part-time opportunities. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, DOE, along with benefits. Training is provided, and you will work as part of a caring team dedicated to improving residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• No experience required; Paid training provided.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities to achieve the highest level of independence.
• Take and record basic health indicators as instructed (temperature, BP, weight, pulse, respiration).
• Document services performed and observe changes in residents' condition.
• Observe and report changes in physical or emotional condition of residents.
• Communicate in a professional, respectful manner with residents, families and colleagues.
• Assist residents with dementia or related diagnoses and support cognitive well-being.

Caregiver responsibilities may include:

• Assist residents to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed.
• Document services performed.
• Observe and report any changes in physical and emotional condition of residents.
• Assist residents with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, incontinence management, transferring assistance and medication administration.
• Communicates and interacts in a professional, respectful, and kind manner.
• Ability to communicate and assist residents with dementia or related diagnosis.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• No experience necessary. Paid training will be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language.
