Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.50
Pay Info: $5,000 Sign on Bonus
Job Summary: The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to residents during scheduled work periods in long-term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily activities under RN supervision. Knowledge of age-appropriate care for physical and psychological needs as per care plan. Follows infection prevention policies and PPE use. Assists with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, psychosocial support, and personal care. Helps with transfers, repositioning, walking, and exercises. Supports food preparation, dining, and nutrition. Documents resident interactions, communicates changes to the charge nurse, and assists with non-invasive specimen collection and vital signs. Provides housekeeping, laundry, wellness, and recreational support. May participate in committees and organizational tasks.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 16. Prior clinical or CNA experience preferred. Must hold valid CNA certification or be in process of obtaining it within four months. Must complete yearly competency testing and continuing education (minimum 12 hours annually). State-specific certifications and driver’s license requirements as applicable.
