Job summary

HCF is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel in Ohio. The role includes assisting residents with daily living activities, answering call lights, documenting care, and following care plans.

It requires caring, reliable teamwork and attention to safety and quality of care. HS diploma preferred; must be state-tested or complete approved training and competency exam within four months of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• State Tested Nurse Aide or CNA training/certification within four months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring, personal hygiene, ambulation).
• Answer call lights and complete documentation of care given.
• Follow resident care plans and refer to them as needed.
• Report abnormal findings (injuries, incidents, skin issues, complaints, abuse/neglect) and unsafe conditions.
