Job summary

HCF is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care under supervision. The role emphasizes compassionate patient support, teamwork, and adherence to care plans within a supportive hospital or facility setting.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and successful completion of a STNA/CNA training program and competency exam within four months of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) or CNA training and competency exam within four months of hire.
• Compassionate, team player, social, trustworthy and service-minded.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring and ambulation.
• Follow HCF policies and procedures.
• Meet job-related competencies per STNA/CNA manual.
• Answer call lights and document care given.
• Refer to and follow resident care plan.
• Report abnormal findings, injuries, incidents or unsafe conditions.
