Job summary

HCF seeks a State Tested Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under licensed supervision. You will assist residents with daily living activities, document care, and follow resident care plans.

We value compassionate, dependable team players who are ethical and service-minded. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and STNA training with competency exam within four months of hire is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• State Tested Nurse Aide training program and competency exam within four months of date of hire.
• Experience in roles with similar goals and responsibilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring, personal hygiene, ambulation).
• Follow HCF policies and procedures.
• Meet job-related competencies as outlined in STNA/CNA manual.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Complete documentation of care given.
• Refer to and follow resident care plan.
• Report abnormal findings or unsafe conditions.
