Job summary

Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care in Greater Cleveland is seeking a Quick Response CNA (STNA) to provide urgent hospice care with dignity and compassion. You will be on the front lines, offering presence and support to patients and families in active dying stages.

Qualified CNAs must have Ohio DOH 75-hour competency and active nurse aide certification, with 3–6 months hospice experience preferred. The role includes a Monday–Friday evening schedule, travel to offices in Valley View and serving

Qualifications

• Must have completed an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test with at least 75 hours.
• Must be state-certified as a Nurse Aide with an unrestricted, active certification.
• 3–6 months of Hospice or Home Health Aide experience preferred.
• Hospice/Home Health Agency experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the care team.
• Ability to learn clinical software and electronic medical records.

As a Quick Response CNA (STNA) serving Greater Cleveland , you will be a vital part of our Even More Care program, providing urgent support during active stages of dying. You will serve as the steady presence families can count on, responding quickly to evolving physical or emotional needs. STNA/ CNA Qualifications:

• Must have completed an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test from an accredited program with a minimum requirement of 75 hours of certification.
• Must be certified by the state as a nurse’s aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification.
• 3-6 months of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide required.
• Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred.
• Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Must exhibit or demonstrate the ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization.
• Must have reliable vehicle/transportation, valid driver’s license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle.

STNA/ CNA Schedule & Benefits:

• Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM -11:30 PM
• Travel to the office in Valley View, Ohio is required. Serving patients throughout Lorain, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Ashtabula, and Trumbull Counties.
