Job summary

Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care in Dayton, OH is seeking a dedicated STNA (CNA) for a full-time schedule. You will join an interdisciplinary team, providing compassionate bedside care and supporting patients and families during difficult moments.

Candidates must have an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test (75 hours) and an active nurse’s aide certification, plus 3–6 months’ hospice or home health experience.

Qualifications

• 3-6 months of Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide experience required.
• Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and families and with the interdisciplinary team.
• Must demonstrate ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic medical records.

STNA (CNA) Full-time Schedule:

• Mondayto Friday, 8:30 AM -5:00 PM No Mandatory On Call

STNA (CNA)****Full-time Qualifications:

• Must have completed an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test from an accredited program with a minimum requirement of 75 hours of certification.
• Must be certified by the state as a nurse’s aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification
• 3-6 months of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide required.
• Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred.
• Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Must exhibit or demonstrate the ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization.
• Must have reliable vehicle/transportation, valid driver’s license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle.
• Travel to the office located in Dayton, OH, is required.
