Job summary

Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care in Akron, OH seeks Quick Response CNAs (STNAs) to provide compassionate care during urgent changes on the patient journey.

You must have the Ohio 75-hour competency certification, an unrestricted aide license, and at least 1 year of hospice or home health experience; driving is required.

Shifts are Mon–Fri 3:00 PM–11:30 PM with travel to Green, OH; benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have Ohio 75-hour competency certification from an accredited program.
• Must be certified by the state as a nurses' aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification.
• 1 year of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide is required.
• Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred.
• Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Must demonstrate ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic records.
• Must have reliable vehicle/transportation, valid drivers license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely operate said vehicle.

CNA/STNA Qualifications:

• Must have completed an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test from an accredited program with a minimum requirement of 75 hours of certification
• Must be certified by the state as a nurses' aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification.
• 1year of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide is required.
• Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred.
• Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Must exhibit or demonstrate the ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization.
• Must have reliable vehicle/transportation, valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle.
