Job summary

Crossroads Hospice is seeking a Quick Response CNA (STNA) to join the Even More Care program. You will provide urgent support during active stages of dying and serve as a steady presence for patients and families.

Shifts are weekends with varied hours, requiring travel to Green, Ohio, and coverage across 9 counties in Northeast Ohio as part of the emergent care team. Relevant certification and at least 1 year of hospice or aide experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Ohio Dept of Health Competency Test with 75 hours is required.
• State nursing aide certification (unrestricted) is required.
• 1 year of hospice or home health aide experience is required.
• Hospice or home health experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and care teams.
• Ability to learn computer skills for clinical software and EHR.

CNA STNA Weekends Available Shifts

• Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Saturday to Sunday, 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM

Travel to the office located in Green, Ohio is required. Serving patients throughout 9 counties in Northeast Ohio as part of the emergent care team.

CNA STNA Weekends Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Must have completed an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test from an accredited program with a minimum requirement of 75 hours of certification
• Must be certified by the state as a nurses' aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification
• 1 year of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide is required
• Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred
• Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Must exhibit or demonstrate the ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization
• Must have reliable vehicle/transportation, valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle
