Job summary

Hillsdale Park Nursing Home is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our team and provide direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nurses. Our CNAs ensure residents' personal care needs are met in line with care plans and promote a home-like environment.

Qualifications

• English communication skills required.
• Prior LTC CNA experience preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Good standing in the state registry required.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights, bells or intercom to determine residents' needs and respond promptly.
• Provide direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Explain procedures and assist with transport to appointments and activities.
• Record and monitor intake, output and vital signs as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident units and equipment and report changes to nurses.
