Job summary

Woodland Park Nursing Home is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our care team. You will provide direct resident care under licensed nurses, supporting daily living activities and comfort in a home-like environment aligned with each resident's care plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.
• Prior LTC nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights, bells, or intercom to determine residents' needs and respond to call lights.
• Provide direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Explain procedures to residents and assist with transportation to appointments and activities.
• Monitor residents and report changes to nurse managers.
• Maintain cleanliness of residents' units, linens, and equipment.
• Record all care as directed and participate in in-services.
