Job summary

Woodland Park Nursing Home is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our team and provide direct resident care under licensed nurses. You will promote a home-like environment while supporting residents’ personal care and care plan objectives.

We value growth and teamwork with shift differentials, health coverage, PTO, holidays, and appreciation events. Prior LTC CNA experience and active state registry status are preferred but not required for entry.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Prior LTC nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom to determine residents' needs and ensures call lights are within reach.
• Gives direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming of residents.
• Explains procedures to residents and assists with activities of daily living.
• Assists residents with bowel and bladder functions and transports to appointments and activities.
• Assists with lifting, positioning, and transferring residents safely.
• Provides incontinent care and changes bed linens following infection control guidelines.
• Feeds residents requiring help and records meal intake; delivers snacks and supplements.
• Offers fluids to residents to maintain hydration as per care plan.
• Reviews and implements daily nursing needs as outlined by care plan or nurse managers.
