Job summary

Home Caregivers Partnership in Canyon Utah Home Care & Hospice in Ogden, UT is seeking a CNA Scheduler to manage schedules and daily CNAs assignments, minimize overtime, and ensure CNAs have consistent hours.

The role includes interviewing, hiring and training staff, coaching CNAs, addressing complaints, organizing payroll, supplies and educational hours, and coordinating with Branch, Clinical, and Assistant Clinical Managers to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• CNA license in good standing with the state.
• CNA experience of 2 years minimum.
• Maintains current CPR certification.
• Management or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills when conversing with employees and team members.
• Ability to problem solve and defuse emotionally charged situations.
• Upbeat, approachable attitude and demeanor.
• Organized and self-motivated to stay on top of assigned tasks.
• Ability to manage time as duties arrive and adapt to unexpected situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedules and daily assignments of CNAs to minimize overtime and travel.
• Interview, hire and train new employees; coach existing team members.
• Provide CNAs with tools to be successful and support as situations arise.
• Address complaints and find appropriate solutions while maintaining professionalism.
• Organize and track reviews, supply orders, payroll, and educational hours required by the state.
• Answer phones and perform clerical/office tasks as needed; work with Branch/Clinical Managers.
