Job summary

TEEMA GROUP in San Francisco is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide in-home care for older adults. This contract-to-hire role offers a 35-hour work week with a potential for permanent placement as the organization grows.

What You'll Do

Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, and laundry.

Escort and assist clients based on individualized care plans.

Observe and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition.

Promote safety by following infection control procedures and proper body mechanics.

Build positive relationships with clients, families, and healthcare team members.

Support clients in maintaining independence, dignity, and quality of life.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience with the elderly or frail population
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Comfortable providing home visits
• Driver's license and reliable transportation preferred (public transportation is acceptable)
• Comfortable with a 3–6 month contract assignment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
