Job summary

ameriCARE Bay Area is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our growing San Francisco team. The right candidate will provide personal care support, maintain dignity, and build trust with clients in a one-on-one setting.

This role offers flexible schedules across SF and Concord with a total of 55 weekly hours starting immediately; pay includes benefits and training. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required; experience in home care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities essential for daily living by assisting patients with meals and related tasks

  • 11 Weekly Hours - Male in SF
    • Monday: 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
    • Thursday: 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
    • Saturday: 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
• CLIENTS AVAILABLE IN CONCORD:
  • 44 Weekly Hours - Male in Concord
    • Monday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm & 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
    • Tuesday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
    • Thursday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm & 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
    • Friday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm & 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
    • Saturday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm & 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
    • Sunday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm & 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
