Job summary

Gig Harbor Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Restorative Aide to join our team. The Restorative Aide will support mobility, strength, and independence for residents by implementing and monitoring restorative care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

This full-time position requires a current CNA license, the ability to lift and assist residents, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Current CNA license in good standing.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting preferred.
Experience with restorative or rehabilitative therapy is a plus.
Ability to lift, move, and assist patients; mobility tasks.

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor individualized restorative care plans to improve or maintain mobility, strength, and function.
Assist residents with prescribed restorative exercises and activities, encouraging participation.
Regularly assess residents’ physical abilities and report changes to the nursing team.
Collaborate with physical/occupational therapists and nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
Document restorative care activities and resident progress accurately.
Educate residents and families on restorative goals, techniques, and exercises.
Encourage independence in ADLs while ensuring safety and comfort.
Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility-related tasks.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
