Job summary

Meadow-Brook-Senior-Living is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide direct care under individualized plans. You will assist with ADLs, support independence and social interaction, and monitor residents' well-being in a safe, homelike environment.

The role requires completion of a state-approved CNA program and current certification, with preference for prior senior care experience. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved CNA program and current certification in required states.
• Experience in senior care preferred.

• Ability to perform physical tasks safely and provide support.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents according to individualized plans of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Encourage resident independence and social interaction.
• Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being and report changes to supervisors.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and homelike environment.
• Support residents during meals, including set-up, assistance, and social engagement.
• Follow safety, infection control, and privacy procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
