Job summary

Heritage Senior Living in Wisconsin is seeking compassionate CNAs and Resident Assistants to join our team. You will provide personalized care and support to help residents maintain independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• CNA certification desirable, but not required
• Previous caregiving, assisted living, memory care, or senior living experience is a plus
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Willingness to complete required CBRF certifications and training
• Ability to safely use applicable resident transfer and mobility equipment

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining and other activities of daily living
• Provide care according to each resident's ISP
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and safe practices
• Complete wellness checks and respond promptly to resident calls and alarms
• Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and report concerns
• Accurately document resident care and services
• Assist with medications when trained and delegated
• Follow resident-rights, infection prevention, and safety requirements
• Participate in required meetings and training
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and homelike environment
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers
