Job summary

Heritage Senior Living in New Berlin, WI is seeking compassionate CNAs and Resident Assistants to provide personalized care, help residents maintain independence, and support daily living activities across multiple shifts. CNA certification is desirable but not required, and openings exist on PM/NOC shifts with potential interview opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA certification desirable, but not required.
• Previous caregiving, assisted living, memory care, or senior living experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to complete required CBRF certifications and training.
• Ability to safely use applicable resident transfer and mobility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, and other activities of daily living.
• Provide care according to each resident's ISP.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using equipment and safe practices.
• Complete wellness checks and respond promptly to resident calls and alarms.
• Observe residents for changes and report concerns.
• Document resident care and services accurately.
• Assist with medications when trained and delegated.
• Follow resident rights, infection prevention, and safety requirements.
• Participate in required meetings and training.
• Maintain a safe, homelike environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
