Job summary

Heritage Senior Living in Elm Grove, WI is seeking compassionate CNAs and Resident Assistants to provide personalized care and support while helping residents maintain independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, following ISP plans, documenting care, and collaborating with a caring team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA certification desirable, but not required.
• Experience in caregiving, assisted living, memory care, or senior living is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to complete required CBRF certifications and training.
• Ability to safely use resident transfer and mobility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, and other activities of daily living.
• Provide care according to each resident's ISP.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and safe practices.
• Complete wellness checks and respond promptly to resident calls and alarms.
• Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and report concerns.
• Accurately document resident care and services.
• Assist with medications when trained and delegated.
• Follow resident-rights, infection prevention, and safety requirements.
• Participate in meetings and training.
• Help maintain a safe, homelike environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
